Q: What’s going on here?

A: This year I’m going back to basics.  I’ve left my corporate job building digital products in higher education to give myself an elementary education in building something concrete.
I call this “kindergarten for grownups,” by which I mean that I’m creating a time and space to explore new things as a beginner.  I hope that the concrete outcome of this project will be a tiny little house I build myself, though with lots of help!
But most importantly, I hope that in this process I will re-learn some of the things I’ve forgotten since kindergarten, so I’ll be posting some of the elements of my kindergarten report card so I can see if the 40-year-old me can be as excited about  learning as the 5-year-old me was.
